Built Into The Programme

The DMS Support Model

Enrolment + Onboarding

Enrolment interview
A structured conversation to confirm fit, clarify career direction and identify constraints before day one. We assess alignment, not just eligibility.

Onboarding session
One-to-one setup covering weekly time commitment, digital platforms, submission expectations and calendar planning. You leave knowing how your study will realistically fit into your life.

Orientation Week
Live introduction to tutors, classmates and systems. Clear explanation of assessment standards, feedback style and participation expectations.

You begin with clarity and defined expectations.

Delivery + Momentum

Momentum matters more than motivation.

Live weekly classes
Scheduled sessions with active discussion and Q&A. Work is unpacked in real time, not left to interpretation.

Defined deadlines
Clear submission dates create structure. You always know what is due and when.

Project feedback
Written and verbal feedback that identifies what to tighten, rethink or strengthen. Not generic encouragement. Specific direction.

Office hours
Bookable time with tutors to review drafts, pressure-test thinking or clarify expectations before submission.

Targeted one-to-one support
If confidence dips or performance shifts, conversations are initiated early.

You are not expected to self-diagnose problems.

Oversight + Adjustment

Progress is visible. Patterns are monitored.

Attendance visibility
Participation in live sessions is tracked.

Submission tracking
Missed or late work is flagged and followed up.

Progress check-ins
Scheduled academic and wellbeing check-ins to maintain momentum.

Mid-point feedback
A formal review of performance to adjust approach before the final stretch.

Small issues are addressed before they become bigger ones.

Capability + Career Preparation

Capability must translate beyond the classroom.

Portfolio reviews
Structured critique of final work to ensure it stands up to employer scrutiny.

LinkedIn feedback
Profile positioning and clarity review focused on employability, not aesthetics.

Industry exposure
Live briefs, internship pathways or employer engagement integrated into the programme where available.

The aim is career-readiness, not just graduation.

Graduate Support + Continuity

Support does not end at the final assessment.

Reference-ready tutors
Tutors can genuinely speak to your work, strengths and development areas.

Follow-up contact
A structured check-in to support your next move into industry.

You leave with evidence, relationships and continued access - not just a qualification.

We're online. But never hands-off.

Flexible delivery. Direct support. Real accountability.

Meet your advisors + support team

Our advisors understand that most learners are balancing study with work and life.
They provide structure, clarity and direct support when pressure builds.

Industry Pace. Academic Backbone

Loved by Employers. Proven by Alumni.

  • Commercial Standards

Work is shaped by how digital operates now.

  • Live Discussion.

Thinking is tested in the room, not after submission.

  • Supported Progress.

Set up clearly. Guided consistently. Challenged to improve.

Employment Outcomes

From Study to Work

1

Active Hiring

At any given time, SEEK shows hundreds of live digital marketing vacancies across New Zealand, across major centres and regional markets.

Because the work is platform-based and digitally delivered, many roles offer remote or hybrid flexibility.
Digital marketing is location-agnostic by nature.

This is active, visible hiring demand across levels, industries and working models.

2

Applied Capability

Marketing is fast-paced and performance-driven. Most teams do not have the capacity to train from scratch.

Employers respond to graduates who understand how marketing connects to measurable outcomes and who can contribute from day one.

They are not looking for perfection. They are looking for commercial awareness, confidence with performance data and an understanding of how campaigns are planned, executed and evaluated.

DMS graduates are trained within that applied framework. That readiness is why employers approach us directly when roles become available.

3

Structural Demand

Industry reporting continues to highlight digital capability shortages across sectors. Source: MBIE labour commentary; industry reporting. At the same time, digital marketing remains one of the most advertised marketing categories on SEEK. The opportunity exists. Career Support focuses on helping graduates move confidently into it.
