What you'll learn
How Search Behaves
How Search Behaves
Search is a system, not a checklist. You’ll build a clear mental model of how crawling, indexing, and ranking interact in practice, so SEO decisions are based on how search actually behaves, not assumptions or folklore.
Intent + Opportunity
Intent + Opportunity
Keywords are only useful in context. You’ll learn how to think in terms of search intent and opportunity, so effort is directed toward queries that genuinely support business goals rather than vanity rankings.
SERPs + Competition
SERPs + Competition
Search results pages tell you what Google believes users want. You’ll learn how to read SERPs, assess competitive landscapes, and understand why some pages win even when they don’t look “perfect” on paper.
Structure + Foundations
Structure + Foundations
Site structure and technical setup quietly shape everything else. You’ll learn how internal linking, architecture, and technical foundations affect visibility, and how to judge which issues are worth addressing first.
Content + Credibility
Content + Credibility
Content succeeds in search when it earns trust, not when it ticks boxes. You’ll explore what makes content competitive, why some pages stagnate, and how quality, relevance, and usefulness actually show up in results.
Authority + Signals
Authority + Signals
Off-page signals are often misunderstood. You’ll learn how authority is built and evaluated over time, how to assess different approaches realistically, and how to avoid chasing tactics that create little lasting value.
Measurement + Direction
Measurement + Direction
SEO data is slow, noisy, and easy to misread. You’ll learn how to interpret performance trends, understand what progress looks like over time, and use data to guide direction rather than trigger reactive changes.
AI and the future of search
AI and the future of search
How AI-driven search experiences are changing how content is discovered, evaluated, and prioritised, and what that means for SEO thinking and decision-making over time.
Planning + Prioritisation
